I subbed half day today in 2nd grade! The class was the best I've had so far! I do sub tomorrow in 4th grade at the same school! I walked down this afternoon to introduce myself to the 4th grade teacher and she told me that my reputation proceeds me. At first I wasn't sure if that was a good thing and then she told me that she was told by another teacher that I was a good substitute. Before this happened, when I walked into the 2nd grade classroom today, the teacher was so thankful for me coming in and asked for my phone number so that next time she needs a sub she is going to call me to let me know when she is putting it in online so that I can log in and accept the position for the day! Both of these made my day as well as one of my Twitter Best Friends Forever (TBFF) dedicated her 7000th tweet to me and a couple of my other TBFFs!
I will say that lunch was not that good! I forgot to pack my lunch, so I had to eat the school lunch! It was basically a taco salad but we're talking about a school taco salad and we all know those are not really good. All they give you is 1 scoop of meat which, is not that good, a big bag of nacho chips, a small cup of cheese with hardly any cheese, a small cup of salsa, and a small cup of fruit. I do know that the school lunch tomorrow is going to be better! Its supposed to be a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato
After dinner, I made cookies for my younger brother, Michael and his frat brothers. My brother is a football player at DePauw University and when ever there is a home football game, I send cookies with my parents to give to him. I stay home with our animals while my parents go see my brother's football games because I have a 17yr old dog that won't let anyone other than a family member take care of him. See I grew up and went to college in Indiana along with my brother so I could see him all the time but while I was in college my parents moved to Ohio and then once I graduated I moved over to Ohio. So now instead of being only driving an hour to see my brother its now a 7 hour drive. To make a long story short I don't get to see my brother so I send cookies with my parents in my place!
