Birthday!

So today is my 23rd birthday and I gave myself one of the best presents. I finally weighed myself officially and I've lost 7 lbs which doesn't seem like a lot to me at first and I didn't think anyone could actually tell if I lost weight or not BUT I finally stepped back in the mall for the first time since I started this and I went down a size in pants and my tops are fitting better. I rewarded myself with a spa day and just took a lot of "me" time. It was nice to sit and reflect on all the hard work I put into learning to eat better and get on a regular schedule of working out. The way I look at it...they say it takes 21 days to break a habit and here I am on day 24 and I haven't given up. This motivates me even more to keep up on this.

but I did splurge and have a piece of cake because it's my birthday and who is going to deny chocolate ice cream cake
