I have decided to try to post at least once a week. The reason behind this is that my schedule has gotten busy. I am subbing at least 2 days a week if not more, along with still being down a car because mine is still at the mechanic, and I'm trying to help my mom unpack, reorganize, and pack back down things. This week I subbed 2 days in a row this week at the same school. It really messed up my internal clock. I had to be there by 8:15 but its a half hour drive so I had to leave at about 7:30-7:45! It made for a long day both days and on one of the days the class went on a field trip to a pumpkin patch. The same day of the field trip it was one of the kids birthday and the mom brought in cupcakes for the class. So the kids not only had their own snack from home but a cupcake, and pumpkin pie in a bag, which they made as a class at the end of the day! Needless to say the kids were loaded with sugar. I was surprised that this school's lunches were better portioned if not more than enough! Most of the schools I have subbed in have had very small portions!
I know about this time of year that the schools will have fall break and parent-teacher conferences so I may not be subbing as much for next week or two! I did make another big batch of M&M and Chocolate Chip cookies for my brother. My snacking has slipped a little. With as crazy as things have been lately, I haven't been paying too much attention to my snaking. I am working on getting it back to being better!

. They don't even allow us to bring in Birthday treats at my daughters elementary school because of peanut and other allergies that her classmates may have. When my son was in school (about 10-15) years ago you were allowed to bring treats but they had to be store bought. How things have changed. I sure hope your students were able to get rid of some of their energy while you were at the pumpkin farm. Did they all get to pick out pumpkins and bring them home also. I love this time of the year. Not because of the fall and the beautiful weather and leaves and stuff. I love love love candy and chocolate which I always steal from my daughter. This is such a bad time of the year for me . You said things have been rough for you lately. It's time to get up, brush yourself off, and get back on the choose 180 challenge wagon. You can do it!!!!! It is all in the mindset. Hugs. AG
