Ok everyone I have decided that I am going to measure my waist - hips- thighs and concentrate on those numbers more than on the numbers on the scale. I think I will see the greatest significance if I measure once a month (I am going to have to try to use a lot of self control to hold out that long). I did wear a pair of jeans Saturday that used to be tight in the waist and butt and now they seem to be more loose so I know that the month that I have been spending at the gym is working. Ok I have a general question for all of my choose 180 buddies. Knowing the squats and lunges are suppose to help with your butt and thighs I am making an effort to do them everytime I work out. I cannot do a "traditional" lunge because I cannot bend my right foot at the arch or anywhere between the arch and my toes with large amounts of pain. Does someone know of a "suto" way I can do a lunge and still get the same effects of working out my thighs and butt muscles? Any advise would be great Does anyone else have this problem where there is like 5 feet hanging off your waist but your pants fit on your butt and thighs. I hate it. If anyone can offer any ideas for exercises to help out with I would appreciate that also Hugs to everyone!!!!! Go choose 180 challenge. Tomorrow is the beginning of a new day embrace it AG

Hey, I've been doing the stair stepper at the gym because I can't do lunges either. I've been using the leg press to with very light weights. A guy at the gym said it would help unfortunately I'm not seeing any difference yet. All my weight is in my butt and thighs. My stomach refuses to go anywhere too. Lol. I don't know if this will be much help to you but don't loose faith. I love reading your entries they keep me going. Because lord knows lately I want to give up and eat a bag of M&M's. . Good luck
