This afternoon I was driving home from the grocery store with my 8 year old daughter, Lily, and we saw a young man walking on the side of the road with a backpack and no jacket. She said, "Oh. That man must be cold, we should drive him home.". While I had the same thought, I had to explain to her why we shouldn't. Up until 5 minutes ago, I had completely forgotten about it. Until Lily just turned to me and said, "I hope that man made it home ok.". This kid is going to change the world. I just know it.
