Reason why I want to do the #Choose180Challenge .. of course the obvious reason is to get healthy. Another reason is because its ties to my favorite band which the members are my idols. The music got me through hard times. I just think this is a great way to get healthy and fit. Besides having surviving ovarian cancer I'm trying to get back to being healthy so this is a good step. I hope I can inspire otehrs to get fit also <3

What a great inspiration you are (should be for all of us). I feel if you can battle cancer you can handle anything that comes at you no matter how difficult it may be. I have a similar story but it isn't about me. It is about my 4 year old daughter. This happened 7 years ago but it feels like yesterday. I was on my way to take her to daycare. She was running a slight fever and the babysitter refused to watch her. She highly advised me to take my daughter to urgent care center. By some chance in God they took an chest X-ray. That is where they saw the darkness around her lung. They immediately set up an appointment with her primary care dr. We rushes over there and then off to the hospital. There we meet up with the oncologist. After further testing it was determined my daughter had a gangloneublastoma that was above her right lung. The next day she went into surgery to have the tumor removed. The dr was able to get 90% of the tumor. For the next 3 years we had to go every 3 months for ct scans and MRI to make sure the tumor hadn't spread. I am very happy to say that 7 years later my daughter is cancer free. The only lastin effects of the cancer is that she has Horners syndrome (her face doesn't sweat) and she has a lazy eye. But none of that matters. I have my daughter!!!!!

I'm very glad that your daughter is healthy now- a very young age to have had cancer. I hope I can be inspiration to people and to help others. With me, they said after I went through chemo I lost some of my lung capacity, that is why I hope to get in shape and keep that in line.
